What are Double Glazing Windows and Doors?AMJ Double Glazing products are sealed units with 2 sheets of 5mm toughened glass (standard) separated by a 9mm or 12mm spacer bar, and completely sealed around the perimeter. As standard, we fill the space between the 2 sheets of glass with air, it's optional to fill the space with argon gas (which improves thermal insulation efficiency). The still air inside the sealed unit creates the insulation break while the desiccant (drying agent) prevents fogging from occurring inside the unit. It's optional to change the 2 sheets of toughened glass to 6mm or Low-E glass.

What Type of Glass Do You Use?AMJ Double Glazing standard products are glazed with 5mm double toughened glass for our windows and doors. Toughened glass which is a form of "safety" glass, it is also called tempered glass. It is a high strength product that is up to five times stronger than ordinary glass. This makes it harder to break, and thus, makes it a useful security glass. When it breaks, it will not break into sharp, dangerous blades, but rather into small, blunt pieces that will not slice or cut in an accident, and the worst that might happen is a few minor scratches.
What are Powder Coated Aluminium Double Glazed Windows and Doors?AMJ Double Glazing aluminium frames are all powder coated and we guarantee them for 10 years. Powder coating is an application of pigmented powder that once heat cured becomes a solid and tough coating that adheres to the surface of aluminium. Powder coating is extremely strong, durable and capable of withstanding Australian climate. It won’t fade, and doors and windows will continue to look as presentable in the future. Dents and scuffs are easily repaired using liquid coating that accurately matches original colours. Powder coating has better colour uniformity between batches. Offering excellent chemical resistance to mortar, as well as to industrial-strength acidic and alkaline cleaners, powder coatings do not produce air pollution.

Retractable Fibre Flyscreens for our Bi-Fold Windows and Doors and Casement Windows.3. No Flyscreen for our Fixed Windows, French doors or Hinged doors. We also offer 0.8mm Black Powder Coated Stainless Steel Flyscreens or Retractable Fibre Flyscreens as an upgrade for some products at extra cost.
Colour Choices: AMJ Double Glazing provides 6 popular standard colour choices for the aluminium frames. (Colour may appear different from the real product on different screens)

What Is Your Production Time?AMJ Double Glazing provides a 12-week lead time after the deposit is paid and the project drawing is approved. Although it may take lesser time depending on a few factors such as the quantity, size of the project, specification of the windows and doors and prior commitments and our factory schedule.
